This digital work of art is dedicated to a dear artBUDette, Janet Marie, a lover of all things purple. Janet Marie has always been a great friend and a true supporter of my art, especially if there is even a hint of purple to be seen. If you haven' checked out her photography, do yourself a favor and head over that way soon. If nothing else, at least read her clever and creative titles for her photographs.
Rooted in royalty, purple is commonly associated with elegance. It also represents vibrant creativity. Purple is feminine, graceful, elegant color that has long been associated with dignity and refined women. Janet Marie is all of these and more.
This work of art was created using a combination of watercolor and dry brush techniques.
