Fine Art America artist J Marielle (Jane M. Dahl) is the 67th recipient of the elite Artistic Merit Award (aka Tony Award) for excellence in and contribution to art. The award was founded in 2008 by artist Tony Murray in recognition of artists around the world.

Tony said the premise of this award is as follows: "The spirit of the award is really to honor fellow artists. We all strive to one degree or another and are never recognized or even given nod by the 'Art World' so this is really about paying it forward. Honor among our fellow artists, giving recognition to those left in the corner of the room, and yes, honoring those of great talent as well in the process."

J Marielle was nominated by fellow Fine Art America artist, Janet Marie, a fine art photographer, and approved by Abbie Shores, an administrator and manager at Fine Art America.

Jane Dahl of JT eDesigns just announced that she is a three time Platinum Remi Award winner for Excellence in Web Design at the 47th Annual Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival for the Android Movie website. Website developer and designer Jane Dahl won Best Website, Best Intro/Welcome Page and Best Website Graphic Design. The Platinum Remi is the highest award given at Worldfest. This is the fourth website designed by Ms. Dahl to win a Platinum Remi award at this film festival. She credited her love of graphic design, interest in the arts and her technology background for the ability to create such a unique website.
