Description
It was a pale, winter day with an unremarkable grey cloud cover most of the day. Then the most amazing thing appeared in the sky above the Mohave Desert in Southern Nevada. The sun broke through the clouds, but only barely, and left an actual reflection of itself in the sky. Quite an unusual phenomenon over the desert skies, and incredibly beautiful and almost unbelievable.
This image reminds me of the sun setting over a lake where it is reflection over the water.

No I didn't catch that it was taken by your son. I was so busy uploading and quickly noticed that you were posting some skyscapes too, which I thought how coincidental, since I had sent you some replies to your awesome homepage feature comments. I always post them in the thank you thread after I reply on the comment page. I am glad I can make his day. Maybe he should think about sharing his talent on FAA. I am so glad that I can be supportive and that it means so much to you. As it does for me as well!

Jane! Looks like you and I are thinking alike. Posting phenomenal skyscapes. This is just as you described. Lovely mountain silhouette too! From the cloud whisper herself, marvelous dear Jane. LF Janet 💕

Thank you so much, Janet -- As I mention in the credits, my son actually took this photo. As soon as I saw it my mouth hit the floor, and I told him I had to put it on FAA. I will be sure to pass along your wonderful comment to him! Thanks so much. Your support means to world to me, and it will to him as well! Hugs from Southern Nevada!
