Description
Title inspired by the Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein song from "State Fair."
While the tulip is not the fanciest flower in the garden, the beauty and grace of these lovely blossoms always speaks to us. The flower has become a symbol for its royalty and a regal nature and was a favorite of Queen Victoria. It is also a symbol of forgotten or neglected love.
“A tulip doesn’t strive to impress anyone. It doesn’t struggle to be different than a rose. It doesn’t have to. It is different. And there’s room in the garden for every flower.” – Marianne Williamson
This digital impressionist work of art was created using a combination of watercolor and palette knife techniques. Watermark will not appear on purchased image.
